Dr. Duy Nham is a Vietnamese pediatrician specializing in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care, with more than 10 years of experience in the field of pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery support. Alongside his role as a pediatric cardiac ICU physician, he also works as a perfusionist, participating in complex open-heart procedures and perioperative cardiac care. His clinical work focuses on critically ill children with congenital and acquired heart diseases, where precision, teamwork, and deep understanding of cardiovascular physiology are essential every day.

 

Beyond medicine, Dr. Duy Nham has long been recognized among colleagues and friends as an artist. Since medical school, drawing has been both a personal passion and a professional strength. Over the years, he has created numerous medical illustrations for academic theses, surgical publications, educational materials, and textbooks in the field of cardiac surgery in Vietnam. His illustrations are known for combining scientific accuracy with artistic clarity, helping simplify highly complex anatomical and surgical concepts for students, healthcare workers, and researchers.

 

His artistic interests extend beyond medical illustration into traditional fine arts. Deeply inspired by classical oil painting, he admires the works of masters such as Rembrandt and Claude Monet, whose use of light, emotion, and atmosphere continue to influence his creative perspective. He also has a strong love for music, especially guitar and classic French love songs, which remain a quiet but meaningful part of his life outside the hospital.
